Nixo Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited behaviour

Use Nixo lawfully and as it is meant to be used. Do not use it to break the law, to harm anyone, or to interfere with the service working for other people.

Abuse and fraud

Do not attempt to obtain a subscription you have not paid for, exploit a billing or trial mechanism, create accounts to evade a limit or a suspension, or use Nixo in connection with fraud.

The ten free scans belong to the install and are deliberately not policed by an account, which means reinstalling gets you ten more. Doing that repeatedly to avoid paying is a breach of this policy even though nothing in the app stops you, and the same applies to running scans you do not want in order to burn our model costs.

Reverse engineering

Do not copy, modify, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer Nixo, or attempt to extract its source code, models, or prompts, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits and you have told us first. The rulebook is published in full inside the app precisely so that nobody has to reverse engineer it to know what we check.

Automated misuse

Do not access Nixo through automated means, scrape it, or send volumes of requests that a person could not generate. Do not probe, scan, or test its security without our written permission, and do not attempt to bypass a rate limit or an access control.

Account sharing

A subscription is for one person. Do not share account credentials, and do not resell or redistribute access to Nixo.

Reporting a problem

If you see Nixo being misused, write to [email protected] with enough detail for us to find it. We look at every report. Nixo holds no content from other users, so there is nothing here for one person to report about another; what this section covers is misuse of the service itself.

We may suspend an account or end access where this policy is breached. Where we can, we tell you what happened and why.
